contrasting outfit posts

I am planning to do a whole lot of outfit posts over my christmas break, so thought I would get a bit of practise in.

I need to work on my background I know.

Firstly my outfit for social swing dancing last week.

I found these awesome culottes from Glassons (cheap chain store) on sale, they are perfect high waisted 40 style pants, teamed with an original 1940’s cotton top and cheap sand shoes.

To contrast here is my beautiful original lace dress. The Dreamstress tells me it was from spring 1933. It is so fragile that i cant wear it often, but this was a special occasion.

The video release party for Porcelain Toy’s “Monsters”.

The theme was 20’s/30’s black and white gothic glamour.

Perfect.
